Refund policy

At Cubbly Beds, every bed is handcrafted to order with care, quality, to your chosen specifications. We understand that sometimes plans change, so we have created a clear and fair returns policy to support our customers while respecting the made-to-order nature of our products.

1. Eligibility for Returns

1.1 You may return your bed frame and/or drawers only within 14 calendar days of delivery, provided it meets the conditions outlined below.
 1.2 Returns are only accepted for bed frames and bed frame drawers. For hygiene reasons we do not accept returns of:

- Mattresses
- Soft goods such as bed sheets, mattress protectors, canopies, bumpers, pillows, or bedding.

2. Return Conditions

2.1 To be eligible for a return, the bed must be:

- Unused and in original condition
- Complete with all fixings and components
- Returned in its original packaging, undamaged

2.2 Returns that do not meet the above criteria may be rejected. If the item is not fit for return, we will arrange redelivery back to you and charge for this service.
2.3 All returns are subject to inspection upon collection.

3. How to Request a Return

3.1 You must contact us at hello@cubbly.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your furniture to initiate a return.
3.2 Please include your order number and reason for return. Our team will guide you through the process and arrange a collection date.

4. Return Fees

4.1 Returns for change of mind are subject to a £120 collection and disposal fee.
4.2 This fee covers:

    - Collection from your address
    - Transport
    - Responsible disposal of the bed (where resale is not possible)

    5. Refunds

    5.1 Once your return has been collected, inspected, and approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 business days.
    5.2 We will deduct the £120 return fee from your refund.
    5.3 If the return is rejected due to condition, no refund will be issued, and the item will be returned to you at your cost.

    6. Important Notes on Custom and Made-to-Order Items

    6.1 All Cubbly beds are made-to-order to your chosen specifications (size, layout, guard rail configuration, finish, storage options, etc.).
    6.2 As such, they are not eligible for returns under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 if used or assembled.
    6.3 We offer a return option as a gesture of goodwill, provided the product is in resaleable condition. This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of a faulty or misdescribed item.

    7. Faulty or Damaged Items

    7.1 If your bed arrives damaged or with a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
    7.2 As all our beds are made-to-order, our first approach will be to repair or replace any faulty parts wherever possible.
    7.3 If a repair or part replacement is not agreed by the customer, a return under our standard returns policy may be requested. 
    7.4 If a bed is deemed faulty beyond repair, we will either replace the bed in full or arrange collection at no cost to the customer.
    7.5 We may request photos or further information to assess the issue and determine the appropriate solution.
